When I saw a photo of this dress on Flickr, I completely fell in love with it. It’s such a versatile dress, it goes great for almost every occasion. When you pull it out of the bag and put it on, you get a dress in colors that would do well on a spring day shopping downtown. But then you start playing with the HUD, which lets you choose from 30 colors for seven different parts of the dress, and you can make this into almost whatever you want. Paler pastels and an appropriate fascinator, and you’d be ready to go to Churchill Downs and see if the favorite in your big race gets disqualified. Or go for darker shades and trim, such as I chose, and you’ll have a most adequate dinner dress. Add opera gloves, and you’re ready in a fine evening gown.
